These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of indianfolktales.com and related pages (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

The Site publishes folk tales, fables, legends and educational reading materials for a general audience, including some stories intended for older readers. For questions: support@asiansparrow.com.

2. Kids and families

The Site includes material for readers, families and teachers. Adults should preview complete stories and their reading guidance before sharing them with children. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children’s use of the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 except as described in our Privacy Policy. 3. Content and acceptable use

You may read, print, and share links to Site pages for personal, family, classroom, and other non-commercial educational use. You may not:

scrape, bulk-download, or republish Site content without permission;
attempt to break or overload the Site;
post or transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive material through any Site feature;
misrepresent affiliation with the Site.

Our retellings are based on traditional tales from public-domain books, whose reuse status depends on the edition and the laws where you live. 4. No professional advice

Stories and morals are for entertainment and education only. They are not legal, medical, psychological, or professional advice.

5. Advertising and third parties

The Site may display ads (including Google AdSense) and use analytics or similar tools as described in the Privacy Policy. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party sites or ads you click.

6. Accounts and access

Visitors do not need an account to use the Site. If you are given an account to help run the Site, you must keep your credentials confidential and tell us about any unauthorized use. We may suspend access that harms the Site or violates these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO USD $50.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Site operator from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply.
